God's Church, you and I- Christ’s Bride, is victorious! Christ paid the price for our victory! With His precious blood, His life poured out on the cross of Calvary, He defeated Satan, Lucifer, the enemy of our souls!

God’s word for us today is this: We MUST get back to the truths of God’s word!Never before in History has it become more necessary than in this hour, to know God’s Word.

What does God want you to HEAR today? What does God want you to know today? Why does God want you to Follow today?

In Part Two we discussed verse 3, the importance of partnering with Jesus, lending Him our “boat” so that He can speak to and transform souls as we see time running out. What is your “boat”? What is in your hand? What can you allow Jesus to use so He can transform the hearts of the people around you?

In Part 1 we discussed verse 1, how the people pressed upon Jesus to hear Him speak, to hear the word of God. "And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God…." (Luke 5:3) Why press into the word? Because it is truth.

"The people pressed upon Jesus to hear the word of God...." (Luke 5:1). Pressed upon is the Greek, epikeimai (eh pee’ kah my) which translates, urgent. The people had a burning desire to hear the word of God. They felt it was crucial, imperative, that they hear what God was saying, His now, present word.

You know, we live in a day when God and His word are taken too lightly, even by we who are named by His name–Christians. This ought not to be so.

The sexual, verbal, spiritual and all abuse of children must stop! You may not shout at your child, “You ugly b…!” or call them outside of the name you gave them at birth!

It’s time for a SHIFT in our lives. We can no longer live as defeated Christians when the total price for our victory has been paid. Paid with the precious blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
